Waitlist Now in Place

The Brisbane Golf Club is now only accepting waitlist applications for its full and transition membership categories as they have reached capacity. The following terms and conditions will apply in regard to the waitlist.

To secure your name on the waitlist, please submit a membership application and pay a non-refundable payment of 15% of the applicable entrance fee. This equates to $1,125 for a full Member.

Please note six-day and junior membership remain open.

New Members will be approved from the waitlist on a first in, first served basis as positions become available and this will be reviewed monthly by the Committee.

Member movements from existing six day Members, restricted Members (remote and limited) and reciprocal Members will be given priority on the waitlist.

Significant movement is expected on the waitlist in mid-October each year.

The non-refundable payment will be deducted from the final entrance fee payable.

Those on the waitlist will have the following rights:

• The ability to play golf upon paying a fee of $80 on Mondays, Thursday afternoons and Sundays*. Access to the timesheet is restricted to 24 hours prior to the day and all bookings must be made via the Golf Shop.
• Be eligible to play in competitions are permitted*, but not honour board events.

When a vacancy becomes available, the applicant will be contacted by the Club via email and/or phone. The Member has five business days to accept the position and make payment. If they do not satisfy this deadline, they will be removed from the waitlist and forfeit their non-refundable payment. Applicants will not be permitted to further defer their decision.

The waitlist will not be capped at this stage.

*A current Golf Link number is required to play golf while on the waitlist.
