Brisbane Shield Reminder

A little reminder to everyone that the sought after Brisbane Shield mixed competition for 2022 is coming up.

The 4BBB vs Par Qualifying round will be played on Sunday, 6 November with the top 8 pairs competing in 4BBB match play on Sunday, 13 November, Sunday, 20 November with the final played on Sunday, 27 November.

This event has been played since 1962 with the trophies donated in the past by Life Member Dr Keith Cockburn and his wife Julie. This tradition is being continued by Keith’s son Bill and his wife Linda.

It is a popular medley event for couples however everyone is welcome.  If you would like to play in the event and do not have a partner please contact Joe or Pro Shop staff and they will register your interest.

Please note you must be available for the four Sundays over which the competition is run.
