QSOOM December Results – January Preview
December Results for QSOOM players. We had 3 events.
McLeod. – 4 BGC Players.
Scratch – Nothing too spectacular on the scratch side of things with Dennis May leading the way for us. The course played pretty tough in a stiff breeze.
Nett – A nice T4 there for Dennis and some good points! Well done mate.
Coolangatta Tweed. – 8 BGC Players
Scratch – WINNER WINNER – Stephen Deane returns to the winners circle on the River Course at Cooly Tweed. Long rounds in tough windy conditions were the big feature of the day.
Some of the guys went down early and played at Murwillumbah GC. Highly recommended!
Nett – Another good result for Dennis May sees him on a steady climb up the Nett OOM.
Also … good to see one of our Lady Members getting out there and having a go.
Brookwater – 8 BGC Members
Scratch – Brookwater didn’t do any of our players any real favours with The Ox the only one to break 80. Course was in very good condition for the most part.
Nett – Nice return for Martin Riley with 36 points here while there was a lot of struggle….
Lady members (2) … that’s a whole lotta course for the ladies out there with the big shifts in elevation. Well done ladies.

Small problem with the ladies nett OOM not loading at the moment.
January events.
16th – Palmer Colonial. A good opportunity for a heap of points because the guns don’t turn up here ….
30th – Redcliffe … almost a home game for me … some of the best greens in Brisbane normally.
I think both of these will be 8am shotgun starts.
