CPR Awareness Training

Members are encouraged to attend a CPR Awareness Training event being held at The Brisbane Golf Club. Attending this training can help you to keep your family or friends safe by learning how to give life-saving care in an emergency situation.

A cardiac arrest happens when the heart has stopped or is too weak to pump blood around the body properly. A large percentage of cardiac arrests occur away from medical expertise and in these circumstances the efforts of a trained person can be critical.

The training is being provided, at the cost of a gold coin donation per participate, by Royal Life Saving Society Queensland. The session will take approximately two hours.
