  1. Thanks and congratulations: The Committee noted the efforts and successes of our players, volunteers and staff within the Club community and beyond.
  2. New golf shop: Work on the new golf shop has commenced. Images of the interior are online via the walkthrough model and in the Garden Room, as is the timeline and tasks associated with the building work.
  3. Driving range restoration and upgrade. Now that the utilities work is completed, the new driving range is in the final stages of construction and will be open in late July, all going well. The synthetic turf has now been installed.  The netting has been installed. The poles for the comfort station are being installed and the gazebo will be dismantled and relocated. Drainage and irrigation for the tees has been completed. Turfing of the tees will commence in week beginning 8th July.
  4. 1st tee restoration: The plan for the 1st tee has been modified after inspections following the departure of the contractors. The disrupted area will be filled with sand and returfed and is expected back in play in July. The bitumen path across the tee will be removed.
  5. New Maintenance Facility: The preliminary costing for a new machinery shed has come in far more expensive than expected. The Committee has put the project on hold for discussion with the new course superintendent and consideration as part of a Club Infrastructure Plan and capital funding model.
  6. Locker rooms refurbishment: Work continues arranging the refresh of the existing facilities.
  7. Club Rules update: The Committee is reviewing proposed administrative and process updates to the Club Rules that will modernise our current governance approach. The proposed changes will be available to all members to review in August prior to consideration of the new rules at the AGM on Wednesday 11 December.
