Team Announcement: Round 4 Pennants

The second half of the 2024 BDGA Div 1 Pennant season is upon us with The Brisbane Golf Club hosting Royal Queensland Golf Club in Round 4 this Sunday.

RQ were defeated by BGC in Round 1, 15-6, and are expected to bring a strong team over for the return leg as they attempt to win back the valuable two points lost at home.

RQ had a comfortable win last week at home against Keperra Golf & Country Club 14-7 while BGC tied with Indooroopilly Golf Club 10.5-10.5. The teams sit at 1 and 2 on the ladder and the winner of the match will be well positioned going into the final two rounds.

This is RQ’s first away game of the season after playing the first three rounds at home. The two teams last played at BGC in Round 6 in 2023. A match that BGC won 13-8.

Again, BGC has the luxury of selecting their team from a full squad this week with everyone available.

We once again encourage as many Members as possible to come out and catch the live action at BGC from 7am off two tees. The Opens will play from Hole 1 and the Masters, followed by the Juniors, from Hole 12.
