Team Announcement: Round 6 Pennants
The Brisbane Golf Club has named three debutants in its squad for Round 6 of the 2024 BDGA Div 1 Pennant season.
Reg Hutchinson and Peter Lansom will debut in the Masters and Daniel Brown will make his debut in the Juniors.
Round 6 will see BGC play Indooroopilly Golf Club at BGC.
While BGC has secured the Div 1 title with one round to go, there is still plenty to play for against IGC this Sunday. The team will have the chance to better their undefeated season of 2018. BGC has already won the individual pennant in the Opens.
The two teams played an exciting 10.5-10.5 tie in Round 3 at Indooroopilly Golf Club.

Following the matches, members are invited to attend an end of year celebratory lunch which will be held in The Tennyson Room and Member’s Lounge. Lunch and drinks will be complimentary. Please RSVP to our CEO, Geoff Kuehner via geoff@brisbanegolfclub.com.au before 5pm on Thursday, 15 August 2024.
In the other match this Sunday, Keperra Country Golf Club will host Royal Queensland Golf Club with both teams in danger of being relegated to Div 2 in 2025. Keperra need to win the match by a margin of 5.5 points or more to remain in Div 1. If the margin is exactly 5.5 points, Keperra will stay based on a superior four against, 4 wins to 2 wins in the position of number one in the Opens.
