Women’s Golf Update

The wet weather continues to play havoc. I suspect someone did a rain dance earlier this year. Shame on them! The year marches on and our pennant season is over, with some great wins and battles along the way under very soggy conditions.

Friday Sapphire Team won the pennant undefeated after giving up a massive number of shots in match play each week. Our Friday Yellow Diamond Team came home with the pennant win for the top 3 players playing off the stick. Congratulations also to our Sunday Yellow Diamond Team who introduced several juniors to Pennants this year ensuring our that team has a bright future.

Club championships are underway. Good luck to all competitors.
For the rest of us I hope everyone is playing great golf and, if not, enjoying one or two magnificent shots that fuels the ‘I’ll be back’ motto.

Remember at the conclusion of your game you can enjoy the new bar menu anytime. Try something new or perhaps share a plate with those you have just had a game with.
