Team Announcement – Round 3 vs Pacific Golf Club
As we near the halfway point of the 2025 BDGA Division 1 Pennants season, The Brisbane Golf Club will play its final away match this Sunday against Pacific Golf Club.
Both sides will be aiming for their second win of the season, a result that would see them share top spot on the ladder heading into Round 4. For BGC, a victory would provide strong momentum ahead of their final three matches, all to be played at home.
Pacific last competed in Division 1 in 2022. That season, BGC secured a narrow 11–10 win away and a convincing 15.5–5.5 win at home. While Pacific boasts a proud pennant history, including being the last club other than BGC to win three consecutive Division 1 titles, their return after a two-year absence makes them something of an unknown quantity this season. A tough match as always is expected.
Again, a strong squad has been announced to play in the Opens, Masters and Juniors against Pacific Golf Club for Round 3.

Elijah Rohas-Smith is playing his last game of the season for BGC as he is off to South Carolina to embark on his college golf career.
Tony Cho will miss Round 3, having been selected to represent the Queensland Representative School Sport golf team for the 18 years and underage group in the School Sport Australia National Championships. .
We once again encourage as many Members as possible to come out and catch the live action at Pacific from 7am off both tees.
In the other match this weekend, Indooroopilly Golf Club will host Royal Queensland Golf Club. The winner will move to the top of the ladder alongside the victor of the BGC vs Pacific clash, with three rounds remaining in the competition.
