Short term golf arrangements
From 8 September 2025 to 24 September 2025, Members will be able to play 18 holes.
From 25 September 2025 to until around mid-January 2026, Members will play the same 9 holes twice to complete an 18-hole round. Each green will have two flags with two holes. White flags will signify the front nine and Yellow flags the back nine.
As a starting point we expect to be able to offer 160 tee times during this period. These are guaranteed 18-hole competition spots. This requires a 5.25am start time and 7-minute intervals.
- 5.25am to 7.38am – 80 tee times (18 Holes)
- 9.58am to 12.11pm – 80 tee times (18 Holes)
- 2.24pm to 3.48pm – 52 tee times (9 Holes)
As the days get longer moving into Summer, we expect to be able to provide some additional 9-hole spots.
Monday’s tee times will commence at 7.30am to allow course maintenance. This will reduce tee times to 128 for 18-hole competition play on these days and 24 spots for 9-hole competitions.
Each 18-hole spots will be compulsory competition exception on Monday and Thursday which will be optional. The 9-hole spots everyday will be optional competition rounds. These 9 hole rounds can also be handicapped.
Competition Fees
During this time, 9-hole optional competitions will be played in addition to 18-hole competitions. The same competition fees, $6 for 9-hole competitions and $12 for 18-hole competitions will be payable.

Reciprocal Clubs
During this time visits from reciprocal members will be put on hold until the end of the GRP. Members are advised that this may pause our reciprocity at other clubs and are encouraged to check those arrangements before making a request for a letter of introduction.
Corporate Golf Days
Corporate golf days will also be postponed during this time.
Tee times at other clubs
Members will be able to play at other golf clubs during this period. The Club has organised 128 rounds of golf per week at the following golf clubs during this time, with Indooroopilly Golf Club yet to confirm:

- Carbrook Golf Club – 24 tee times per week
- Royal Queensland Golf Club – 28 tee times per week.
- Indooroopilly Golf Club – to be confirmed.
Timesheets for the above bookings will be created and will close at 6.00am two days prior. i.e. If I wish to play on a Wednesday at 1.00pm, the timesheet for that day will close at 6.00am on Monday.
These rounds of golf will be at no cost to our members, unless playing in a competition which will require payment of a competition fee.
Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is also offering members the opportunity to play The Palms Golf Course for $130 including motorised cart hire. Members are to call their Golf Shop on 07 5699 9000.
While Members will not be restricted on how many rounds they can play each week, we are asking members to consider other members when booking themselves in for golf. If there are spots in the timesheet, on the day, feel free to organise a game. We need to all work together to ensure everyone gets a game.
