Green Resurfacing Program Update

We are pleased to advise that Holes 10, 17 and 18 will come back into play from Monday, 2 February 2026 and the course routing will be as follows:

1 to 9 and 10, 11, 12, 13, 21, 17, 20, 19, 18.

This will be the final course routing used to complete the green resurfacing program and will allow Holes 14, 15 and 16 to be resurfaced by Atlas.

As you may have seen, Atlas, our contractors, are back on site and during this week and next will will focus on demolishing the existing East practice green and also on building the new tees for Hole 1. They expect those works to be completed in around 8 to 9 working days. Following that they will resurface 14, 15 and 16 before returning to Hole 1 to finish building the new East practice green.

The entire construction is expected to take 5 weeks or 25 working days subject to weather.

Members are reminded that during construction the Hole 1 works area is an out of play area as per the following local rules.

Any ball that lies in Construction Zone designated as a No Play Zone are to be treated as Ground Under Repair.

  • Play from this area is prohibited.
  • If your ball lies with the No Play Zone, of if the No Play Zone interferes with your stance or swing, compulsory relief must be taken.
  • Relief is taken by dropping your ball within one club-length no nearer the hole.

At the end of each day the Golf Shop will collect these balls from this area for Members to collect.

As always if you have any questions, please contact me via 0411 412 666 or geoff@brisbanegolfclub.com.au.

We again thank Members for their support and patience during this final stage of the GRP.
