Join us for a Classic Film Evening Curated by John Carozza

Join us at our second classic film night featuring “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” a timeless tale of friendship and adventure that showcases the iconic performances of Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Renowned film educator John Carozza will guide the evening, sharing his extensive knowledge gained from nearly 40 years in the arts and education. Recently retired as the Head of Department for Signature Creative Identity in Queensland, he specialises in cinematic deconstruction and metaphors, making him the perfect host for this evening’s exploration of the film.

Amongst other interesting tit bits, John will reveal two fascinating facts about the film: its unique blend of humor and tragedy that set a new standard for Westerns, and how the film’s production faced challenges that ultimately shaped its iconic narrative style. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a classic and gain insights from an expert.
While enjoying the film you can also indulge in a mouthwatering pasta experience created exclusively for the evening by our Executive Chef, Gillian Hirst. Choose one from three delicious pastas available by pre-order. The ticket price includes both the screening and dinner.
