Update – 2022 Men’s Club Championships
Yet again we have been undone by Mother Nature in terms of our ability to play our beautiful course…are we having fun yet?
Due to continued rain, our course staff have not been able to prepare the course as they would like for our marquee event. As such we will have to postpone our Club Championships, so there will be no Club Championship rounds this weekend (Saturday, 21 May and Sunday, 22 May). Another email will be sent regarding course updates for play daily, shortly.
We will have to reset the timesheets for future rounds so Club Championship timesheets will open at 6pm on Friday, 20 May. The same conditions of entry apply as previous.
Below is the updated information regarding dates:
Qualifying Rounds:
Saturday, 28 May 2022 – A & C Grades – Round 1
Sunday, 29 May 2022 – B Grade – Round 1 and Byneset (there is also ladies Pennants 6:45am from 1st tee)
Saturday, 4 June 2022 – A, B & C Grades – Round 2
Sunday, 5 June 2022 – Byneset Qualifying continued. Again, there is only one qualifying round for Byneset, not your best round if you play both days.
Matchplay:
Sunday, 12 June 2022 – Quarter Finals
Sunday, 19 June 2022 – Semi Finals
Sunday, 26 June 2022 – Finals
The flow on effect to this is that the Club Foursomes Championship will be moved to Saturday, 2 July 2022.
