Senior Team’s Challenge – Match Report v Nudgee
Yesterday, our Members participating in the Senior Team’s Challenge made it back to back wins.
In almost a reverse of last week’s weather conditions, the intermittent light showers and varying winds caused play to be rather tricky at times. Despite this challenge, our team defeated Nudgee Golf Club 4.5/1.5.
Some of the highlights of the day included:
* Stephen Deane having a good 3/2 win in a match that was very close on the front nine with Stephen’s vast experience proving the difference on the back nine.
* Geoff Holding winning 4/2.
* Phil Lynem securing a square in his match.
* A clean sweep of the four balls with each of Peter Martin/Darryl Stuckey and Ashley Stewart/Richard Garnham defeating their opponents 4/3 and 5/3 respectively.
