Australia Golf Foundation Junior Girls’ Scholarship Program – Apply Now

We are thrilled to announce the availability of the Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls’ Scholarship Program at The Brisbane Golf Club. Thanks to the incredible support of Bonnie Bozeman AO, a director of The Australian Golf Foundation, we have received funding to create 12 scholarship places for young girls passionate about golf.

We are inviting family and friends of members of The Brisbane Golf Club to apply for the scholarship.

Who is the scholarship for?

The program is open to girls who are not already members of the Club, aged between 9 and 16, with exceptions allowed for girls aged 7 to 8 who have demonstrated exceptional capabilities for their age.

What does the program involve?

Successful applicants will benefit from:

• A one-year complimentary junior club membership with playing rights for participation in club competitions and obtaining a handicap.
• 24 coaching sessions with BGC’s distinguished professionals, Ben Williams and Asha Flynn, the current PGA National Coach of the Year – Game Development.
• A club shirt and hat with AGF Scholarship identification.

What commitments will scholarship holders be required to make?

Scholarship recipients are expected to:

• Display a desire and willingness to enhance their golf skills, obtain a handicap, and actively participate in club competitions and social play.
• Engage in extracurricular activities that foster friendships among scholarship holders.
• Complete pre- and post-program evaluation surveys.
• Understand that their commitment to the scholarship program will not take precedence over any education or school commitments.

Scholarship Term: The scholarships will be valid for one year only (2024)
