Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

As 2023 draws to a close with many successes and challenges behind us, the BGC Committee, Management Team and staff share wishes for a happy Christmas and New Year.

We hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends and the weather suits the special occasions ahead.

Over the Christmas period, the course, practice facilities and Clubhouse are open every day except Christmas Day, with golf facilities and Garden Room as normal. The Clubhouse will also be open as normal with food and beverages available from the Garden Room, or table service via me&u in all other areas.

The Golf Shop team will be ready to welcome you in the Garden Room when you check-in, chat about golf, or inquire about any other information you need.

You are also welcome to organise a game with guests through the Golf Shop team, making use of your free annual guest passes up until the opening days in February. Life, full, senior and provisional members will receive three passes. Six-day and transition members will receive two passes. The passes are not transferable and Members can simply book in their guests as normal and advise the golf shop on arrival that you wish to use your passes. A reminder also that the course will be closed on the 8th, 9th and 10th of January for a light green renovation.

We have also been advised that the government utilities work on our practice fairway will commence on the Monday, 15 January, closing the driving range for approximately 16 weeks. More information about alternative arrangements around the course will be available next week.
