The qualifying rounds for the 2024 Women’s Club Championships will be held over the week starting the Saturday, 1 June 2024.

The Women’s Club Championship will comprise of 2 gross stroke rounds of golf, with 8 to qualify in A, B and C Grade, followed by Match Play rounds played on consecutive Sundays.
- A Grade Club Championship Quarter and Semi Final Match Play rounds will be played over 18 holes. Extra holes to be played if matches are all square on the 18th hole.
- The Final round of the A Grade Club Championships will be played over 36 holes. Extra holes to be played if the match is all square on the 36th hole.
- B & C Grade, Quarter, Semi and Finals Match Play rounds will be played over 18 holes. Extra holes to be played if matches are all square on the 18th hole.
There are two options for each qualifying round of the Women’s Club Championships.
Players may only play in one of the options for each round.
Members who are eligible to play in all options, must nominate their selections prior to the start of the first qualifying round of the Women’s Club Championships, by submitting a completed entry form to the Golf Shop or to the Women’s Captain. Failure to submit an entry form, will not disqualify the player from the Women’s Club Championships, but if more than one option is played for a qualifying round, the first option played will be counted.
First Qualifying Round:
- Option 1a – Saturday, 1 June 2024 OR
- Option 1b – Tuesday, 4 June 2024
Second Qualifying Round:
- Option 2a – Thursday, 6 June 2024 OR
- Option 2b – Saturday, 8 June 2024
A members daily/playing handicap as of the first qualifying round will determine the Grade in which they will qualify, with 8 players from A, B and C Grade to qualify.
- A Grade: + – 22
- B Grade: 23 – 31
- C Grade: 32 – 45
Play will be in groups of four during the qualifying rounds.
The timesheets for all qualifying rounds will open at 6:00pm on Friday 10th of May 2024 for all Women Members playing in the 2024 Women’s Club Championship and Senior Salver.
With the morning field on Tuesday and Thursday being designated as Women only slots.
The timesheets will open for all Members 14 days prior.
Match play will be played in 2’s commencing at 7:00am, and will be played alongside the Men’s Club Championships.
- Quarter-final matches of the Women’s Championships on Sunday, 9th June 2024
- Semi-final matches of the Women’s Championships on Sunday, 16th June 2024
- Championship finals to be played on Sunday, 23rd June 2024
- Exact times of the matches will be published nearer the time.
2024 Women’s Club Championship Conditions
- All ties in qualifying will be decided by countback
- Motorised carts cannot be used for those players wishing to qualify for the Women’s A Grade Club Championship. There will be an exemption for a medical certificate.
- All matches to be played on the day and time scheduled.
- Draws will be available on the evening of Saturday, 8th June 2024
- Course for the qualifying rounds is yet to be determined.
2024 Senior Salver
All women who are 65 and over on the day of the first round of competition are eligible to play in the Senior Salver.
The Senior Salver will consist of two rounds of nett stroke, and will be played at the same time as the two qualifying rounds of the Women’s Club Championships played on Tuesday and Thursday
First Round:
- Tuesday, 4 June 2024
Second Round
- Thursday, 6 June 2024
For those members wishing to play in the Senior Salver they will need to:
1) Nominate on a separate nomination sheet
2) Book a time in the competition time sheets for both Tuesday and Thursday. These two actions can be completed in any order.
3) All nominations for the Senior Salver must be made before play commences on Tuesday, 4th June
The nomination sheet for those wishing to play in the Senior Salver will open at 6:00pm Friday, 10th May 2024,
The time sheets for all rounds of the Women’s Championships and Senior Salver will open at 6:00pm on Friday, 10th May 2024.
