Volunteer Update

This morning a tough group of volunteers braved the cold weather to plant many trees and shrubs. Course staff, led by Acting Super Alex Blakey, were on hand to dig the many larger holes and supply tools, stakes, and string.

Plants that were used included Weeping Paperbark, Lilly Pilly, Eumundi Quandong, Tuckeroo, Red Robin (Photinia), Robyn Gordon (Grevillea), Illawarra Flame and hundreds of tube stock of Liniopes and Lomandras. In the next couple of weeks more of the same will be planted around the range. Members patience will be rewarded when our Range does open and blossom.
Great job and thanks to these volunteers who kindly donated their time; Rob Brown, Steve Lacey, Dennis May, Greg Moroney, Margot McNee, Julie Brown, Al Haydock, John Puttick, Millie Coorey, Deb Kember, Les Nathanson, Lise Schoutrop, Anna Lyons, John Rogers, Janet Nathanson and Mal Cramb. Job well done.
Thanks all
Lloyd Cotterill
