Volunteer Update
This morning (Monday, 19 August 2024) a hardy bunch of our BGC Volunteers gathered today to continue the extensive planting program around the Driving Range and back of the newly renovated 1st tee area.
Hundreds of holes were dug by the volunteers as well as some of the younger fitter course staff which was greatly appreciated. Members will fully appreciate this program when we eventually return to our new range and 1st tee as most of these trees are well established, up to 2m in height.
Appreciation must go to these volunteers giving up their time, being; Richard Garnham, Ross McTaggart, John Puttick, Julie Brown, Steve Lacey, Mal Cramb, Margot McNee, Dennis May, Deb Kember, Anne Clifton, Al Haydock, Cameron Gibson, and Rob Brown.
