Utilise your $285 gift vouchers

Utilise your $285 gift vouchers and taste test our proposed summer menu for 2025.

• ️‍♂️Members receive complementary guest green fee vouchers for use between closing day (December 15) and opening week (February 1). Life, Full, Senior and Provisional members receive three digital vouchers. Six-day and Transition members two digital vouchers. Simply let the golf shop know you wish to use one when you check in your guest(s) before their round.
• ‍ We are creating a new summer menu and CEO Geoff Kuenher would love your feedback. Try our new breakfast menu or our new all day lunch menu. ‍ Your guests will love the course, love the food, love the drinks and most of all your hospitality. What a great way to get yourself in a festive mood.

Locker Rooms –  Refit & Refresh Complete

By the time you open this email both the women’s and men’s locker rooms ‘refit and refresh project’ would have been completed. A big thank you to BGC Member, Peter Walker and his team, who did a fantastic job, on time and on budget. Please note that shoes (or any items) are no longer to be stored on top of your locker. There are lockers available at an annual rental of $55. Please contact Peter Collins peter@brisbanegolfclub.com.au if you wish to secure one. Only limited numbers remain.

Celebrate Your Friends’ Success

Save the Date for our Annual Presentation Night – Friday, 21 February 2025 – and turbocharge your friend’s celebrations by joining them at our Honour Board presentation evening.

Former compares Stephen Deane, Andrew Slack, John Caris, Phil Wikman, Peter Collins and Deb Kember, along with excellent food, cold drinks, and camaraderie, have made these mixed evenings a roaring success. Don’t let the fact that you didn’t win anything dampen your celebratory spirit. Book a table and get your playing group together to toast the successful BGC winners in 2024. You never know, 2025 may be your year!

Like to Play the Road Hole at St. Andrews? 

On wet days, or any day, you and a friend can hire the new Swing & Putting Studio in the Golf Shop and play 18 holes on courses around the world, including St. Andrews, Augusta National, and Pebble Beach. Enjoy a quick round of golf on any of  100 iconic courses, followed by a hearty breakfast or delicious lunch selected from Chef Michael Garry exciting new summer menu.

CEO Geoff Kuenher is always looking for suggestions to enhance our member experience. If you see any ideas, signage, member bar fit-outs, or menu suggestions at other golf clubs please forward photos directly to geoff@brisbanegolfclub.com.au.

 

 

“Put another shrimp on the barbie”

The Brisbane Golf Club will again be offering members the opportunity to pre-order their Christmas food. Over the past nine years, hundreds of members have repeatedly used this service to make their Christmas Day catering much easier. Once again, we have all of your favorites.

To order, simply here to download an order form. Then select your items and submit the order form online, or print it out and email it to geoff@brisbanegolfclub.com.au.

All orders must be received before 5 PM on Tuesday, 17 December 2024. Once we have your order, we will contact you to confirm and arrange payment. In 2024, the cost of fresh produce has skyrocketed. If you shop around, you’ll find the club is providing top-quality, competitively priced seafood with convenient ordering and collection.

Please add your preferred collection time on your order form. Orders will be ready for collection between 10 AM and 4 PM on Christmas Eve. Members are also reminded to bring an esky to transport their Christmas food home safely.
