2025 Women’s Club Championships and Senior Salver

The qualifying rounds for the 2025 Women’s Club Championships and Senior Salver will commence on Saturday, 24 May 2025
.

The Women’s Club Championship will comprise two gross stroke rounds of golf, with 8 to qualify in A, B & C Grade followed by Match Play rounds played on consecutive Sundays commencing Sunday, 8 June 2025.

The Senior Salver will be played in conjunction but will comprise of two nett rounds with 8 players to qualify. All players must be 65 years or older on the date of the first qualifying round to be eligible.

• A Grade Club Championship Quarter and Semi Final Match Play rounds will be played over 18 holes. Extra holes to be played if matches are all square after 18 holes.
• The Final round of the A Grade Club Championships will be played over 36 holes. Extra holes to be played if the match is all square after 36 holes.
• B & C Grade, Quarter, Semi and Finals Match Play rounds will be played over 18 holes. Extra holes to be played if matches are all square after 18 holes.
• Senior Salver, Quarter, Semi and Finals Match Play rounds will be played over 18 holes. Extra holes to be played if matches are all square after 18 holes.

There are two options for each qualifying round of the Women’s Club Championships and Senior Salver

Players may only play in one of the options for each round.

Members who are eligible to play in all options, must nominate their selections prior to the start of the first qualifying round of the Women’s Club Championships and Senior Salver, by submitting a completed entry form to the Golf Shop.

Entry forms will be available at the Golf Shop prior to qualifying rounds.

Failure to submit an entry form, will not disqualify the player from the Women’s Club Championships, but if more than one option is played for a qualifying round, the first option played will be counted.

First Qualifying Round:

• Option 1a – Saturday, 24 May 2025

OR

• Option 1b – Tuesday, 27 May 2025

Second Qualifying Round:

• Option 2a – Thursday, 29 May 2025

OR

• ● Option 2b – Saturday, 31 May 2025

A member’s daily handicap based on the Chelmer Course ratings as of the first qualifying round will determine the Grade in which they will qualify, with 8 players from each grade to qualify.

• A Grade:   + – 21
• B Grade:  22 – 29
• C Grade:  30– 45

Play will be in groups of four during the qualifying rounds.

The timesheets for all qualifying rounds will open at 6:00pm on Friday, 9 May 2025 for all Women Members playing in the 2025 Women’s Club Championship and Senior Salver.

With the morning field on Tuesday and Thursday being designated as Women only slots. The timesheets will open for all Members 7 days prior.

Match play will be played in 2’s commencing at 7:00am and will be played alongside the Men’s Club Championships.

• Quarter-finals on Sunday, 8 June 2025
• Semi-finals on Sunday, 15 June 2025
• Finals on Sunday, 22 June 2025
• Exact times of the matches will be published nearer the time.

2025 Women’s Club Championship Conditions

• All ties in qualifying will be decided by countback
• Motorised carts cannot be used for those players wishing to qualify for the Women’s A Grade Club Championship. There will be an exemption for a medical certificate.
• All matches to be played on the day and time scheduled.
• Draws will be available on the Tuesday, 3 June 2025
• The Chelmer Layout will be used for qualifying.
