2025 Men’s and Women’s Club Championship Finals
Members are encouraged to come out and support the Finals of the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Club Championships being played this weekend.
This is one of many highlights on the BGC calendar, with a total of 14 finals being contested. Thirteen matches will take place on Sunday, while the Junior Club Championship Final will be played on Saturday. The feature events, the Men’s and Women’s Club Championship Finals, will be contested over 36 holes. All matches will be played on the Championship Chelmer routing.
Before you head out to catch the action, enjoy a delicious start to your day with a selection of breakfast canapés prepared by our Executive Chef, Gillian Hirst, in the Garden Room from 8am to 9am.

Highlights
- Chase Oberle will be aiming to win his first Junior Club Championship at BGC. He is the current Queensland Junior Amateur Champion and earlier this year finished 4th in the Australian Boys Amateur.
- The 2025 Men’s Club Championship Final is a replay of the 2023 Men’s Club Championship Final.
- Taj Egea is hoping to claim his second Club Championship title, having first won in 2023.
- Lachlan Jones is seeking his first Club Championship after finishing runner-up to Taj in 2023.
- Lynne Conroy will be aiming for her 11th Club Championship title, an incredible achievement.
- It will be a big day for the Conroy family, with John also featuring in the Six Day C Grade Final.
- In the A Grade Plate, Michael Deane is chasing his first win in this event. His father, Stephen, is a three-time winner. (2005, 2008, 2010).
- Warwick Oxenford is looking to win his second Senior Club Championship, having previously secured the title in 2021. He was the Club Champion in 1995.

Six Day – B Grade: Craig Jones vs Ben McCarthy
Six Day – C Grade: Mark Jackson vs John Conroy
- Jenny Somers is hoping to win her third B Grade Club Championship in the past five years.
- Gillian Mullis is chasing her first C Grade Club Championship in her debut year as a Six Day Member, having recently graduated from our Get Into Golf Women program.
These matches represent a great opportunity to witness some of our finest players in action.
Breakfast Canapes
The Garden Room will be open from 6am and a drinks cart will be available on course from 11am on Sunday, offering refreshments as you follow the action. Complimentary breakfast canapes will be served in the Garden Room between 8am and 9am.
