Hospitality Team Restructure

We are pleased to announce a restructure of our hospitality team as part of our continued commitment to delivering exceptional service and enhancing the overall member and guest experience at The Brisbane Golf Club.

Gillian Hirst continues in her role as Executive Chef and remains a key leader in our hospitality team. Gillian has already hosted several well-received Club dinners, updated our event and wedding packages, and recently launched a new bar menu, available seven days a week, which we encourage all members to enjoy.

We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Kassie Tang as Front of House Manager. Kassie has been with the Club for almost 12 months and has now accepted a full-time role. She will be focusing on the day-to-day operations and, most importantly, improving the member experience.

Freya Gall is now working closely with myself and Gillian in the area of events and weddings. Freya joined BGC in January 2023, with a brief period away gaining further hospitality experience in Whistler, Canada. We’re excited to have her back and actively contributing to the Club’s growing events offering. You can view our newly launched events and wedding website at www.tennysongardens.com.au.

We are also very fortunate to continue to have Matt Tanner, who has been part of the BGC team since 2016, providing valuable support to both Kassie and Freya.

Peter Collins continues to oversee our corporate golf days, maintaining the high standard expected of these important Club events.

We are confident that these appointments will strengthen our hospitality operations and ensure the Club continues to offer an outstanding experience for all Members and guests.
