Gillian Hirst Brings Culinary Excellence to Daily Lunch Service
We’re delighted to share that The Brisbane Golf Club Member’s Lounge is now open seven days a week for lunch service, available from 11am to 2.30pm daily. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, entertaining guests, or simply enjoying a relaxed afternoon at the Club, lunch in the Lounge is an experience not to be missed.
Our lunch menu has been crafted by our Executive Chef, Gillian Hirst, whose reputation in Australian hospitality is unparalleled. With over 30 years of experience across fine and casual dining, Gillian is renowned for her culinary excellence and is the creator of the iconic Sand Crab Lasagne, a dish loved across Queensland. Her impressive list of accolades includes seven American Express Gold Plate Awards, three Gourmet Traveller Best Restaurant in Queensland Awards, and five Courier Mail Good Food Guide Awards.
Alongside her main menu, members can also enjoy daily specials featuring up to four additional dishes. Full table service is provided, and our picturesque setting overlooking the 18th green makes the Lounge a perfect spot for birthdays, special lunches, or casual catch-ups.

The same menu is also available from the Garden Room daily between 11am and 2.30pm, while breakfast is served from 7am to 11am. For more relaxed dining, our Bar Menu is available until 5pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
