There were several factors considered, but we believe this is the right thing to do. Club Championships is supposed to be the best players playing in the best conditions possible, and with the current situation we could not deliver that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As always, if there are questions please contact Joe, Reece, Geoff, or myself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please find the exact dates and additional information below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A Grade and C Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st Round Qualifying &#8211; Saturday, 27\u00a0August 2022. A Grade off the 1st tee, C Grade off the 10th tee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>B Grade and Byneset<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st Round Qualifying &#8211; Sunday, 28\u00a0August 2022. Off the 1<sup>st<\/sup> tee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A, B, &amp; C Grades<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2nd\u00a0Round Qualifying \u2013 Saturday, 3\u00a0September 2022<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The timesheets for all qualifying rounds will open on Friday, 5 August 2022 at 6pm for Members playing in the 2022 Men&#8217;s Club Championship.\u00a0The timesheets for other Members wishing to play in the competition on the various days during qualifying will open\u00a0<strong>seven<\/strong>\u00a0days prior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Players must qualify on the days nominated for their grades, failure to do so will make a player ineligible for match play rounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each individual\u2019s\u00a0<strong>GA handicap<\/strong>\u00a0as of\u00a0<strong>6pm <\/strong>on<strong> Friday, 5\u00a0August 2022<\/strong>\u00a0will determine which grade each member is eligible for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A Grade<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0GA handicap\u00a0of 10.7 and less.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>B Grade<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0GA handicap\u00a0between 10.8 and 17.2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>C Grade<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0GA handicap\u00a0of 17.3 and above.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Play will be in groups of 4 within each grade at 8-minute intervals on all days of the Men&#8217;s Club Championships.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Match play\u00a0will be played in 2\u2019s as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quarter-final matches to be played on Sunday, 11 September 2022.<\/li>\n<li>Semi-final matches to be played on Sunday, 18\u00a0September 2022<\/li>\n<li>Championship finals to be played on Sunday, 25\u00a0September 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/brisbanegolfclub.cmail19.com\/t\/t-l-qjkkhtd-ykkhhkijiy-r\/\">Click here<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to view the categories available to all Members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2022 Men&#8217;s Club Championship Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All ties in qualifying will be decided by countback.<\/li>\n<li>Motorised carts cannot be used for those players wishing to qualify for the Club Championship and the H.W. Herbert Junior Championship.
