Our monthly wrap up of the October events on the QSOOM tour \u2026 but first \u2026<\/p>\n

A very big congratulations to Stephen Deane for his latest efforts. Steve travelled down to Launceston Golf Club (a reciprocal) and ran T8 in the Australian Senior Championships with scores of 79-76-72 (+11). The 72 in the last round was equal to the days best round.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also finished 10th<\/sup> on the AUSOOM, which now starts a new season. A great effort!<\/p>\n

And \u2026<\/p>\n

October QSOOM – Not too much action out there this month as a lot of the SEQ clubs are under maintenance. However there has been some more BGC success.<\/p>\n

BDGA Senior Championship<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Nudgee Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Scratch \u2013 A win to Stephen Deane who has beaten 3 others on a countback to win the BDGA Title (or it might be shared \u2026 not sure).<\/p>\n

T1 \u2013 Deaney \u2013 77<\/p>\n

T21 –\u00a0 Ian Brereton 87 – (T-11 Super Seniors)<\/p>\n

T25 \u2013 Paul Graham 89<\/p>\n

A good win to Ian Frost of Lakelands \u2026 one of the big 5 and recent Australian Rep making a bit of a charge.<\/p>\n

TOOWOOMBA MIDDLE RIDGE \u2013 A win to local David Stephen who shot 1 Under, from Gary Heslop of Nudgee. \u00a0Two guys to watch \u2026 I played with David the day before at Warwick \u2013 his rookie event \u2013 and he was -4 after 9 holes \u2013 finished 3 over. Heslop is a well-known player \u2026 It will be interesting to see if they persist in playing QSOOM events.<\/p>\n
