Last year BGC and Toowoomba Golf Club played the inaugural Celebration Cup to celebrate the establishment of both clubs in 1896. I\u2019m pleased to announce this event will be held again this year, with BGC as hosts, on Friday, 2 December 2022.<\/p>\n

The format will again be a medley single stableford played between 40 members from each Club.\u00a0It will be a 12.30pm shotgun start with a dinner to follow the afternoon round in The Tennyson Room at BGC.\u00a0There are only 40 spots available to golfers and the numbers are expected to fill\u00a0quickly.<\/p>\n

Two Members from each club will play in the same group.\u00a0The top 25 scores will\u00a0count from both Clubs to determine the winner of the Celebration Cup.\u00a0There is no minimum number of scores from men and women. Last year the winners were Toowoomba Golf Club.<\/p>\n

The best mens’ and ladies’ score from each club will be recognized, as well as a rundown from the event.<\/p>\n

The cost will be $50 for each player including competition fees and dinner.\u00a0This will be deducted from your house account one\u00a0week prior to the day.\u00a0\u00a0Partners are also welcome to attend the dinner at a cost of $38.<\/p>\n

Please let Geoff Kuehner or ourselves know no less than one\u00a0week prior if you wish to bring a guest so final numbers can be confirmed for catering purposes and payment can be arranged.<\/p>\n
