{"id":23820,"date":"2024-03-01T12:22:39","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T02:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brisbane.miclub.com.au\/cms\/?p=23820"},"modified":"2025-10-16T10:51:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T00:51:10","slug":"download-our-new-app-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brisbane.miclub.com.au\/cms\/2024\/03\/download-our-new-app-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Download our New App Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As recently advised, a new club management software package called Northstar, is being launched today.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, a new and more user-friendly BGC App has become available as well as a new-look accounts section in the Members only pages of the website.<\/p>\n<p>Please note the MiScore app you use to score your golf rounds remains in place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO USE THE NEW BGC APP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Downloading the new BGC App<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. If you have an Apple device, <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/bgc-ns\/id6473893163\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/bgc-ns\/id6473893163\"><strong>click here<\/strong><\/a> to download the new BGC App or type in BGC-NS.<\/p>\n<p>2. If you have an Android device, <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.sibisoft.brisbanegc\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.sibisoft.brisbanegc\"><strong>click here<\/strong><\/a> to download the new BGC App.<\/p>\n<p>3. Look for the new BGC app which has a blue logo.<\/p>\n<p>4. Click on GET and wait for the new BGC App to download.<\/p>\n<p>5. The old BGC App will remain in place until 30 April 2024.<\/p>\n<p><em>Logging into the new BGC App<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. Enter your membership number in the username section i.e. 5050<\/p>\n<p>2. Enter your surname in lower case in the password section. i.e. kuehner<\/p>\n<p><em>Exploring features of the new BGC App<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. Home Screen<br \/>\n\u2022 Your home screen allows you to explore the App features.<\/p>\n<p>2. Notifications<br \/>\n\u2022 Tap the bell icon to view notifications that we will send you from time to time.<br \/>\n\u2022 To have notifications appear on your home screen as they are posted follow these steps.<br \/>\no From your phone home screen go to Settings.<br \/>\no Touch Notifications<br \/>\no Scroll down until you see the new BGC App<br \/>\no Touch to open the next screen.<br \/>\no Slide the Allow Notifications button to green.<br \/>\no Choose your display preferences.<\/p>\n<p>3. Edit<br \/>\n\u2022 Tap the edit button to set up three customised shortcuts.<br \/>\n\u2022 The example shown below provides a shortcut to book a round of golf, see your house account statement and to call us.<\/p>\n<p>4. Home<br \/>\n\u2022 Tap the home button to return to the home page.<\/p>\n<p>5. Feed<br \/>\n\u2022 Tap to read the latest news.<br \/>\n\u2022 Your monthly statements will also appear here.<\/p>\n<p>6. Menu<br \/>\n\u2022 Tap Menu to access My Account, Golfing Services and Lesson Bookings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Some of the tasks you will be able to do include:<br \/>\no review the transactions on your house account<br \/>\no use the member directory<br \/>\no message a buddy<br \/>\no book a round of golf<br \/>\no view a leaderboard<br \/>\no book a golf lesson.<\/p>\n<p>7. Membership Card<br \/>\n\u2022 Use the Membership Card on the App instead of your fob to make purchases at the Club. The Fob can still be used. This feature will be available in early March 2024.<br \/>\n\u2022 Simply tap your Membership Card on our QR readers to be able to use it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Accessing the user guide<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A user guide for the new app can be downloaded by <strong>clicking here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW WEBSITE PAGES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The log in details for the \u2018members only section\u2019 of the website remain the same.<\/p>\n<p><em>Exploring the new website pages<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 From Members Home Page, when you click on my accounts, you can access:<\/p>\n<p>o Your profile<br \/>\no Statements<br \/>\no Monitor house account charges<br \/>\no Make a payment<br \/>\no Use the Member Directory<br \/>\no Change your password<br \/>\no Review your settings.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You will also be able to access your normal MiClub features. Note when doing this for the first time you will be asked to enter your MiClub login details. These are the login detials you use to login into the Member only section of the website. Remember to click &#8216;remember me&#8217; so you dont have to login again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OTHER IMPORTANT CHANGES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Automatic Top Up of House Accounts<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Your house account can now be automatically topped up. For example you may set it up to automatically deposit $100 into your house account, whenever your account is lower than $50. To start automatic top ups please download and complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/brisbanegolfclub.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/DDR_BGC.pdf\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/brisbanegolfclub.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/DDR_BGC.pdf\"><strong>Ezidebit form<\/strong><\/a> and email it to kymberley@brisbanegolfclub.com.au with the top up amount you would like. i.e. $100, $200. Please note the minimum top up amount is $100.<\/p>\n<p>2.
