The Brisbane Golf Club will play at home for the first time this Sunday in the 2024 BDGA Div 1 Pennant season.<\/p>\n

BGC will play the other winning team from Round 1, Keperra Country & Golf Club who defeated Indooroopilly Golf Club 12-9 at home. BGC defeated RQ away 15-6 last Sunday.<\/p>\n

Keperra is the longest serving Division 1 team and has been in the top tier since 2014. They last won the title in 2016. BGC has been in Division 1 since 2017 and has won 4 titles in that time in 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023. There is a high level of respect between the two clubs who are known for producing quality matches with close finishes.<\/p>\n

Four players who were part of last week\u2019s winning team are unavailable this week for BGC. Sam Howse and Campbell Kerr will play in the Portsea Open Amateur over the weekend, while Taj Egea and Chris Somerfield will play the Newcastle event on the Nextgen Amateur Tour.<\/p>\n

Chase Oberle, who has been representing Golf Australia over the past few weeks returns to the squad along with John Houston and Isaac Rahmani. Matt Field has also been named in the squad and will make his debut.<\/p>\n

The Brisbane Golf Club has announced the following squad to play in the Opens, Masters and Juniors against Keperra in for Round 2:<\/p>\n
