{"id":25132,"date":"2025-02-28T07:07:26","date_gmt":"2025-02-27T21:07:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brisbane.miclub.com.au\/cms\/?p=25132"},"modified":"2025-02-28T07:07:26","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T21:07:26","slug":"member-benefits-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brisbane.miclub.com.au\/cms\/2025\/02\/member-benefits-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Member Benefits Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A review of Member categories and benefits commenced in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to modernise our approach to membership and raising revenue required to provide facilities that surpass industry standards and members\u2019 expectations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Board and Management Team is working on developing a whole-of club approach to membership fees and benefits by re-structuring categories, voting and board eligibility to offer better benefits for members and a sustainable revenue source.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The updated conditions and benefits will be progressively listed here.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Family Entrance Fee: <\/strong>The Board approved suspending the discounts in February 2025 that were introduced as a short-term promotion in 2023.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Full membership:<\/strong> The Board approved that Full membership be capped at 620 this financial to ensure minimal waitlist in the shorter months of the year.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Six-day membership: <\/strong>The Board approved capping 6-day membership numbers at 550 in February 2025 for the same reason.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Professionals (non-touring): <\/strong>The Board approved in February 2025 that the Club\u2019s PGA Professionals who are not covered in the touring Professionals membership category are eligible to participate in weekly competitions and prize pools, including monthly medals.
