1. Annual General Meeting notice and invitation:<\/strong> The 129th Annual General Meeting of The Brisbane Golf Club will be held on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 commencing at 6.00pm in The Tennyson Room. Members are invited to join the Board for light refreshments afterwards. Click here<\/strong><\/a> to read the Notice of AGM.<\/p>\n

2. Green replacement program:<\/strong> Thank you again for your patience and understanding throughout our green replacement program. Subject to favourable weather, we expect to have resurfaced and grown in 18 holes and the west practice green in under 12 months, we feel positive on having 18 holes returning to play by mid-January 2026. Holes 2 and 8 will return to play on Saturday, 6 December, with Hole 7 to follow once the bunker works are completed. The routing will then change to give Holes 20 and 21 a rest, moving to 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 2, 8, 11. The other greens are progressing well. Greens 3, 4, 5 and 6 are now in week 7, Greens 1 and 9 in week 6, and Greens 10, 17 and 18 in week 5. All going well we plan to play 16 holes by mid-December, allowing 16-hole competitions to be played. Work on resurfacing holes 14, 15, 16 will begin mid to late January. 3. Members Lounge:<\/strong> The Members Lounge is steadily being refreshed with new chairs on order, historical hubs established in the Heritage Stairs and Foyer and Honour Boards prioritised according to standing. Following the recent relocation of some women\u2019s honour boards, the men\u2019s Boyce, Senior, Junior and Foursomes honour boards will be relocated to the corridor adjacent to the men\u2019s locker rooms, creating a dedicated corridor of honour. Additionally, a new Honour Board recognising all past Secretaries, General Managers, and the current CEO will soon be installed in the foyer or an area nearby.<\/p>\n

4. New breakfast menu:<\/strong> Gillian Hirst will be launching a new breakfast menu in the Garden Room from Monday, 1 December. The new breakfast menu will be available from 7am daily.<\/p>\n

5. Dine at the Club:<\/strong> Almost 200 bookings have been taken for lunch in the Member\u2019s Lounge during November and we are really appreciative of your support. Members have enjoyed the menu created by our Executive Chef, Gillian Hirst with playing partners, club friends and guests.
