Golf Australia Strategy Document

Golf Australia recently hosted a conference online to share progress on the development of a new Australian Golf Strategy.

The strategy is designed to advance the sport at all levels of participation and management through industry-wide collaboration amongst key organisations.

The conference followed workshops held around the country and interviews with people from various golf bodies across the industry.

In addition, more than 8,500 Australians shared their views on the future of golf by completing the Australian Golf Strategy survey.

Golf Australia’s intention is to galvanise the Golf industry behind a single national strategy – and to stimulate a collective approach to growing the game.

At the conference Industry experts shared their views on opportunities and challenges we will face in order to sustain recent growth and ensure our sport’s relevance for future generations.

Golf Australia Board member, Peter Castrisos  and Club Vice President Deb Kember attended the conference. Peter can provide more information about the development of the strategy and the work of Golf Australia.

Following on from the conference, Golf Australia intends to advise plans for proposed town hall meetings, in person, or virtually, where there will be opportunities to provide further feedback.
