Ladies’ Opening Days and Upcoming Events

Welcome to the 2022 golfing season at The Brisbane Golf Club.

We assume you all had a wonderful Christmas break and are looking forward to a great new year at BGC. We hope you and your families have all remained well during this period.

Once again this year has not begun quite as we had hoped with the emergence of another COVID variant which will affect us all in various ways. We will continue to plan our golfing and events according to the schedule and will do our best to modify plans to keep our golfing community active and COVID safe. Staffing levels have been significantly impacted with this current wave of COVID, and we ask that everyone is understanding if the usual levels of service are not available.

Diaries will be released shortly, with an electronic copy already available on our BGC App and the website under About Us/Brochure Library. Please take note of all special events  within the golfing calendar and take the time to enter this into your personal diary for reference throughout the year, hoping that COVID and the weather will not cause too many changes.

Our Ladies Let’s Golf program will begin in February. We will again be looking for volunteers in the near future to assist with escorting new players onto the course on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We thank you in advance for volunteering, and acknowledge the large contribution that is being made by these volunteers.

Monthly Medals Days will continue to have lunches in the Tennyson Room on these days and would encourage everyone to come upstairs and join us. Trophies from the past events will be presented to winners. If trophies are not collected, they will be available  at the Golf Shop.

The dates will be advertised separately in the Ladies Locker Room.  The entry fee is awarded directly in a proportionate manner to the first 5 players, so the more entrants the higher the prizes at the end of the year.
