Golf Course and Weather Update

Please be advised the course will re-open on Friday, 20 May 2022 for walkers only. Unfortunately the course is still too wet for motorised carts.

The following conditions will apply for tomorrow:

  • One tee start from 6.30am as per the timesheet.
  • Social golf only.
  • Preferred lies in the general area.
  • Bunkers will be in play.

While we expect competition golf and two tee starts to return from Saturday, we don’t expect motorised carts to be permitted.

A decision has been made to again re-schedule the 2022 Men’s Club Championships and a seperate communication has been distributed in that regard. Please click here to read that communication.

Our Course Superintendent, David Mason has prepared a video course update to show how wet the course has been in recent days and outline how we will are working through the recent challenges. Click here to see that video.

Members are also advised that construction work will start on the two houses on Curzon Street that are adjacent to the course on Hole 12. The land was recently purchased by a developer with the two houses to be replaced by a warehouse style development. Members are asked to not enter the construction and laydown areas which will be appropriately fenced and signed. As this area is out of bounds there is not impact on golf.

Once again, thank you to all Members for your patience during the wet weather and subsequent drying out of the course. As always I look forward to seeing you around the Club.

Kind regards

Geoff Kuehner, CEO
