Spirit of 1896 Anniversary Golf Day

The Brisbane Golf Club is pleased to announce our ‘Spirit of 1896 Anniversary Golf Day’ will be held this year on Sunday, 11 December 2022.

This day marks the 126th year anniversary of the opening of our grand old Club in 1896 by His Excellency Lord Lamington.

To celebrate, Members are invited to play in a medley 4BBB Stableford with shotgun starts at 7.30am and 1pm.

The overall winners will each receive an engraved “Spirit of 1896” crystal spirit decanter.

Period dress is encouraged and there will be a prize for the best dressed from the morning and afternoon fields.

Date: Sunday, 11 December 2022

Time: Shotgun starts at 7.30am and 1pm.

Cost: $12 competition fee.

Lunch: Complimentary sandwiches provided along with a beer, soft drink or glass of wine served from the Member’s Lounge between 11.45am and 12.45pm.

Bookings: Bookings are essential via the timesheet which will open at 6am on Sunday, 27 November 2022.
