Committee Vacancy

Following a recent resignation, the Committee seeks applications from eligible Members to fill a casual vacancy on the Committee. As per Rule 22 (iv) (a) the casual vacancy

“may be filled by a decision of the Committee and such person shall hold office only until the next succeeding Annual General Meeting”

It is important to note that as per Rule 20, the Committee Member is required to be a

“Life Member, Full Member or Senior Member of two or more years’ continuous membership”

Applicants are invited to send an expression of interest to the Committee before 10 am on Thursday, 9 February 2023.

The application should include a summary of the candidate’s expertise, professional background and qualities that the person believes they could bring to a role on the Club Committee.

Applicants are encouraged to read the Corporate Governance Framework outlining the responsibilities associated with serving on the Committee, service to the Club and all members.

The Committee will then review these applications as well as conduct interviews if required. A decision regarding this casual vacancy will be made soon.
