Brisbane GC QSOOM April Results – May Preview

This Month – AUSSOOM and QSOOM News for April.

*Peter Lansom finds some form at Indooroopilly

*Royal Pines bares its teeth

But first …. AUSSOOM News.

BGC had one representative at The National Senior Masters. Marto had 87 (Moonah) and 92 (Old) to miss the cut. The consolation prize for missing the cut was another round on the Moonah course, (a top 20 Aus course) where I had 86.

What a great tournament. Lunch provided every day. Free unlimited range balls. A $60 practice round. A gift of a beautifully presented bottle of wine with 2 engraved wine glasses. Buffet dinner – so good!  The National Senior Masters is also the only Senior event that will guarantee you a spot if you’re in the top 10 of your state OOM – possibly going to top 15 next year. A great incentive to get out and play the events.

Anyway … on to QSOOM.

Indooroopilly (9 BGC Members played)

Gross – Peter Lansom took full advantage of some missing big guns to land some great points with a 2nd place! Ian Burgess continued his great form as well.

Nett.

Royal Pines (5 BGC Members)

Gross – Nothing here to write home about …. Tough conditions. I did manage a NTP at 11 metres though.

Nett – again … nothing startling.

QSOOM Scratch – Season.
