Take a wander through Chelmer and you’re literally walking where the city’s first golfers teed off. Some of the old family homes that made the course possible are still standing along the route. Now, fast forward—our historic clubhouse at Yeerongpilly has been standing tall for 116 years. Proud history, legendary community!  #bgc130 #bgcgolf

Enjoying the new first tees? Let’s see how things have changed—and stayed the same—over the past century! In the top photo, you’ll spot the former East putting green and a 1st hole tee box. Aerial shots reveal that the tee in the 1929 photo was actually the Ladies’ tee back in the day.  Jump ahead to 2026 and the tees are rated for all members to enjoy four unique courses in one, with handicap adjustments to match the longer of shorter length. Who will be the first to play all four courses? #bgc130 #bgcgolf
