Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting has been called at the direction of the Board and is to be held at The Brisbane Golf Club in the Tennyson Room on Saturday, 9 May 2026 at 5.30pm or immediately following the conclusion of the afternoon golf competition, whichever is later.

The Board proposes that the following motion be passed, with or without amendment.

Motion 1

Proposed by the Board

That the annual subscriptions for the years ending 30 September 2027, 2028, and 2029 for the categories of membership – Full Member, Senior Member and Six Day Member – be set as follows:

1. For the year ending 30 September 2027:
2. Full Member: 110% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2026
3. Senior Member: 110% of the Senior Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2026

• Six Day Member: 79% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2027

1. For the year ending 30 September 2028:
2. Full Member: 110% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2027
3. Senior Member: 110% of the Senior Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2027

• Six Day Member: 82% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2028

1. For the year ending 30 September 2029:
2. Full Member: 105% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2028
3. Senior Member: 105% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2028

• Six Day Member: 86% of the Full Member annual subscription for the year ending 30 September 2029

Explanatory Memorandum

General Points

1. Rule 13 requires the consent of members for an annual subscription increase above 5% for the categories of membership – Full Member, Senior Member and Six Day Member.
2. There is no change to the annual subscription discount for Senior Members.
3. The annual subscription for other membership categories, not mentioned, are determined by the Board in accordance with the Rules of the Club.

In accordance with Rule 29 in the Club Constitution the motion will be decided by members present at the meeting and entitled to vote.
