Women’s Pennant Results – Monday, 27 April 2026

Please find below a summary of the women’s pennants results from the weekend.

Friday Gold – Wantima (24 April 2026)

The Friday Gold team opened their 2026 season on a positive note with a strong 4.5 to 2.5 win over Nudgee at Wantima. It was a solid team performance to start the campaign.

Team members were Angelina Drakos, Perri Ilott, Leigh Francis, Lisa Schoutrop, Anna Lyons and Susie Eagleton, with Di Hall absent from the photo.

The team has a bye next Friday (1 May) and will be hosting all Gold teams at Brisbane from 7:00am. They will play Pacific and McLeod on 8 May.

Friday Silver – Indooroopilly (24 April 2026)

The Friday Silver team also produced a strong result, winning 5.5 to 1.5 home against Wynnum on their home course. This was a great overall performance and a very pleasing team outcome.

Team members were Angela Cottrell, Felicity Broadly, Pat Goh, Ann Fell, Kelly Stoddart, Jan Dixon and Allison Cook.

Special mention goes to Angela Cottrell for an outstanding win over an 8-handicapper, finishing 9 and 7.

The team has a bye on 1 May and will next play Redland Bay at Indooroopilly on 8 May.

Sunday Gold – Keperra (26 April 2026)

The Sunday Gold team had a challenging day, going down 6–1 against Keperra away. With our top three players unavailable due to other commitments, it was always going to be a tough contest. Congratulations to Katie Paterson for securing the team’s only win on the day, and well done to Lilly Dellar and Lily Holmes who both fought hard, taking their matches to the 18th hole.

It was also great to welcome Georgia Sparks for her first match, an encouraging sign as our junior members continue to step up into senior competition.

The team on the day: Skyla Taylor, Lilly Dellar, Jodi Holmes, Tammy Cole, Katie Paterson, Georgia Sparks and Lily Holmes.

The team has a bye in Round 3 on 3 May and will next play McLeod at Royal Queensland on 10 May.

There are 8 teams in Sunday Gold and each team will play each other once.
